Forty-seven years ago, the world as we knew it ended. The Collapse wiped out most technology and scattered communities across what remained. But in Cambridge, Massachusetts, something remarkable happened - people came together.
Five guilds now keep Sector 47 alive: researchers who preserve knowledge, engineers who keep the lights on, runners who scout the territory, keepers who care for the community, and envoys who maintain alliances with the outside world.
And then the signal started. Deep in the tunnels beneath the old university, something from before the Collapse is transmitting. Project Meridian was supposed to be destroyed. It wasn't.

The Seekers preserve and recover knowledge from before the Collapse. They catalog old-world tech, decode encrypted archives, and piece together the truth about what happened. When a mystery surfaces in the tunnels, Seekers are the first ones studying it.
Engineers
Builders & Inventors
Engineers keep Sector 47 running. They maintain the solar arrays, repair water systems, and repurpose old-world technology for new uses. If something is broken, an Engineer can fix it - or build something better from the parts.
Runners
Scouts & Messengers
Runners map the expanding territory, carry messages between settlements, and explore the tunnels beneath Cambridge. They know every rooftop shortcut and hidden passage. When danger comes, Runners see it first.
Keepers
Healers & Caretakers
Keepers are the heart of the community. They grow food in the rooftop gardens, tend the sick, preserve traditions, and make sure no one gets left behind. A community survives on courage, but it thrives because of Keepers.
Envoys
Diplomats & Negotiators
Envoys connect Sector 47 to the wider world. They negotiate trade deals, resolve disputes, and maintain alliances with other settlements. When tensions rise, an Envoy finds common ground. They also manage the Network - the communication system that keeps everyone connected.
